"CVS-II", aka the second generation of the Concurrent Versions System,
is what is discussed in the info-cvs mailing list. Though we all
commonly refer to this thing as "CVS" now, it is really the second
generation of a tool called "CVS". The first generation was a set of
scripts posted to `comp.sources.unix' late in 1986 by Dick Grune.
"CVS-II Discussion Mailing List" is the name I've given a private alias
I use to refer to the info-cvs mailing list.
I think your mail client needs replacing with something more
intelligent! If it's choosing the comment (or full name) portion of an
address field as the folder in which to file a message, but without
giving you the opportunity to override it, or to programmaticaly choose
another based on specified criteria, then you'll end up with all kinds
of wildly named and totally inconsistent folders!
