Howdy,

I'm running cvs in a dir that lives on a network mapped
WinNT drive. The mapped dir actually is on a machine that
is on a different domain, in a different state (I'm in TX,
the box is in NY). So, of course the connection is a bit slow.

However, often times, when I try running cvs in this dir,
it will hang (afaik, indefinately, as I'll come in the next
morning and kill the command).

I'm running cvs-1.10.x client, which rsh's to a cvs-1.10.x
repository on a Solaris box (also in NY). (It also happens
with cvs-1.9 client/server) I've tried variations of the
command, including using the cvs -z and the -d options.
All variations will occasionally freeze.

Can anyone explain this, and more importantly, tell me a
way to make it stop happening?

Thanks,

Rob
