HI! I am new to CVS. I have installed cvs on linux to be the server and Wincvs on windoes 98 for the client. I created a reposatory on the linux machine, checked out on the windows machine and have modified a file. I now want to put back the updated file into the repository. When I click the commit icon I get a cvs commit -m "no message" new (in directory C:\checkout\cvstest) cvs [server aborted]: you are unknown to this system *****CVS exited normally with code 1***** I know that my login was successful from the following message NEW CVSROOT: :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvstest (password authentication) cvs login (Logging in to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) ] *****CVS exited normally with code 0***** ANy ideas???
