I am using cvs 1.10.7. Access (checking in/out) is done using pserver
started by inetd. So far, so good. That all works like a charm.
To send out commit email, I am using the log_accum.pl script (together
with commit_prep.pl) out of the contrib directory of the cvs
distribution archive. Generally, that works as well.
There is one tiny little thing, that annoys me, though. The "Author"
field in the email is *always* set to the userid cvs is installed
under. It is *not* set to the name of the user checking in the
code. The same holds true for using log.pl instead of log_accum.pl.
Any hints on what I am missing and pointers to where I might consider
going are greatly appreciated.
