Contributed code isn't always maintained very well -- log_accum.pl uses
the wrong method of getting the user's name, which is why you get the
wrong Author.  What you need to do is pass the user name as an argument
to the script (as shown in "Loginfo example" in the Cederqvist manual). 
The version of log_accum.pl in the current development version of CVS
has been updated to work that way if you want to download it from
www.cvshome.org instead of figuring out how to modify it yourself.
