Title: FW: 2401 failed: connection refused

I forgot to mention that I can telnet into the server, I can see
ypcat passwd | grep username on the server too.

yeah, I did. I actually made changes to inetd.conf again. Now I am at the stage of getting
this login error message
cvs [login aborted]: incorrect password.
But I have another question.
Can I have two daemons running on different servers, but working on the same repository.
I heard that it is dangerous and screws up history files.
Is that the reason why I am having these problems?
thanks for your help.
