Question

 I've got a question with CVS v. 1.10.6 . if I
Add a directory 'mkdir <DIR>;cvs add <DIR>'
then commit 'cvs commit -m "because" <DIR>'
everythings cool, then when on another checkout of the same source.
cvs update doesn't create the directory, what gives? isn't it supposed to?
