Authentication

I am using a jCVS client with the CVS server.  I am using password 
authentication, pserver.  I added the necessary lines to my 
/etc/inet/inetd.conf and /etc/services files.

I keep getting the I HATE YOU response from the server from the jCVS 
client.  I can use CVS if I telnet to the server.

Any comments or suggestions would be very welcome.
