Hi all,
did not find any information neither in the last months'archive of
egroups/info-cvs nor in the cvs documentation... therefore I hope that
some of you may provide me with some clues :
we just implemented pserver acces method after years of "normal"
(through rsh) method... and we face a small problem that we'd like to
bypass :
let's consider my home directory is "/home/picard"
let's consider a "mod1" module that I checkout under my home directory
:
host> cd /home/picard
host> cvs status mod1
will work fine whereas :
host> cvs status /home/picard/mod1
cvs [server aborted]: absolute pathname `/home/picard/mod1' illegal
for server
and this is very disturbing for us... (because in fact we don't
directly use cvs commands but launch cvs commands through a frontal
huge script which does not like this kind of error message...).
Does any of you have more information about this error ?
please may you reply with, in addition to egroups, my personnal email
address in copy : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
stephane
