I am running CVS 1.10 on a Sun Ultra 5 workstation. I'm out of
disk space on that box and need to move the CVS repository to a
Sun E250. CVS 1.10.7 is installed on the E250. I have 2 questions.
1. Can I just copy all of the files in the directory pointed to
by the CVSROOT directory (/usr/local/cvsroot) on my Ultra 5
to the new directory (/app/cvs/cvsroot) on my E250 and set up
environment variables? Is there something else I need to do?
I want to preserve the version control history in the current
repository.
2. Are there any compatibility issues since I have 2 different
versions of CVS on the two machines?
Any help would be appreciated.
