Before checking code in I like to check what changes I've made in
order to ensure that I have in my mind all the comments that need to
be made at "cvs commit".

I also like to do this periodically to ensure that I haven't forgotten
to commit changes that other people need to see. I find that the
output of "cvs status" is too detailed for this purpose, so I wrote a
small tool which effectively just provides me with enough information
to figure out what remains to be done. I've called it show-disp
(since it shows me the disposition of my working files with respect to
the repository).

I now find this tool so indispensible that I wonder how I ever
functioned without it. So, I'm making you all aware of it in the hop
ethat you will find it as useful as I do. I'd be glad of any
feedback.

Below is a sample of its output:-

 $ sh show-disp.sh
