Just a datapoint:
I was able to do several "cvs -z3 update" last night ok...
and "cvs -z3 diff -c" too... It was kind of
slow, but I _was_ on a 56k modem...There was some unexpected changes
post 1.11 to doc/cvs-paper.ps in there that took a little while
to transmit. But nothing like the delays you're experiencing.
