actually loginfo is for post-checkin and
commitinfo is for pre-checkin and
verifymsg is for verifying log messages ...
so I am hoping there is something like "checkoutinfo " :}

Look up "commitinfo", "verifymsg", and "loginfo" in the Cederqvist.
I believe they are also called "Commit support files".
