building CVS 1.11 on WinNT

Has anyone been successful at building CVS 1.11 on WinNT? I've tried
it with both MSVC 5.0 and 6.0 (and I *think* I treid it awhile back
with 4.2), and they all fail at some point.

If you've been able to build it, can you give a synopsis of what you
had to do?

Is there any plan to put a Win32 client binary up at cvshome.org?
