platform and compilers compatibility

Hi,

Do you have any information about the compatibility of CVS to work on 
Sun Solaris 7 and 8 ? 
And also with the workshop 5.0 compiler (CC 5.0) and the new CC 5.1 
(the Forte 6) ?
