The only time I've seen a kernel begin to thrash is when memory is consumed
and the paging space is tapped. You can try increasing your paging space -
though the recommended paging allotment is double (in general) your memory,
which in this case, only leaves you with 32 MB paging. Increasing paging
beyond double (or 1.5x beyond 512 MB), you begin to take a performance hit.
I suggest looking into a bit more memory (say 64 MB) and set your paging to
128 MB.

I was wondering whether anyone has experienced something similar to a
problem I'm having.
I'm using cvs1.10 on a Sco OpenServer box running 16MB ram. I'm attempting
to use Wincvs 1.0.6 and Wincvs 1.1b16 to checkout a module and on about the
5th or 6th file I get a kernel panic on the Unix box.
Jcvs works fine.
