Ok, I've moved the CVS files from one server to the other, and set up the
proper pserver stuff in the inetd.conf file... I've got the passwd file
there and everything. I can do a cvs login, but if I try to do anything
else, it gives me an error message:

cvs server: cannot open /root/.cvsignore: Permission denied
cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(/root): Permission denied
cvs checkout: authorization failed: server <myservername.mydomain.com>
rejected access

I'm confused as to why it's trying to open /root/.cvsignore... ?
I'm not trying to checkout as root... and my other server didn't have a
.cvsignore in the /root dir.
I'm trying to do an unlock and get this message. If I do a checkout, I get
a similar message.
What would be the things I need to check out to hunt this down?

Thanx
