Hi
A user has reported this error message with CVS after check in.
****************************************************************
During the addition of s11recorddefaults to CVS, it gave the following
error. The file was available on CVS after this operation, inspite of
it reporting as '[commit aborted]'.

C:\MNI\Mni1\src\cappui\src>cvs add s11recordsettings.c
cvs server: scheduling file `s11recordsettings.c' for addition
cvs server: use 'cvs commit' to add this file
permanently C:\MNI\Mni1\src\cappui\src>cvs commit

Commit Success
RCS file: /cvsadmin/cvsroot/MNI/src/cappui/src/s11recordsettings.c,v
done
Checking in s11recordsettings.c;

initial revision: 1.1
done
CVS.EXE [commit aborted]: cannot rename file .new.s11recordsettings.c
to s11recordsettings.c: File exists
**************************************************************
But the file has been checked in;he says he had the file opened in
another text editor at the time of checking in.I am at a loss to
explain why it gave that message in the end.Can someone explain why
it tried to create another file called .new.s11recordingsettings.c?

Thanks ,
Paddy Thomas
