I've been trying to re-install WinCVS on my new PC.
I've got Windows 98 2nd Edition with IE 5.5 installed. Also the Tcl and Tk
libraries.
I've tried both version 1.1b12 and 1.1b17 (which are appropriate for Windows
98), but I get the same result, the WinCVS splash screen appears and almost
all the browser view except for the tree when the system hangs.
I can only push manual reset on the CPU at this point. The only thing I can
think of is that I need to have all the drivers associated with coding like
Visual Studio installed like I had before.
Suggestions? Didn't have this problem before.
Happy New Millennium!
