Help with CVS (beginner)

If anybody could point me in the right direction for beginner's info 
for CVS it would be appreciated.  I am being asked to setup a CVS 
server for the developers in my company.  I am an NT administrator, I 
am not very familiar with Linux, but would learn it if need be. What 
should I do?
