regarding the uninstallation of cvs

hi ,       We have already cvs installed on linux red hat.But  we want to install cvs with kerbrose server for security purpose.But while installation ,we are getting error saying there is some conflict between the files that is already with cvs and the new one.So please inform me  the solution for the above problem.We have a cvs 1.10 but we want to install cvs 1.11 with kerbrose.
