'un' ignore ignored files?

Hi...

I plan to use CVS for maintaining my websites and I have noticed that *.exe is in the 
internal cvsignore list...

Is there some way to only remove one single ignored file-mask instead of all of them? 
Or do I have to remove them all and build a new static list myself?`
