I'm having a problem with my new CVS/WinCVS installation. I have CVS installed on my Linux server (RedHat 7) and WinCVS installed on a box running Windows 2000 Professional. On the Linux server, I have xinetd configured to listen to port 2401 and pass requests to cvspserver. I am able to connect over the LAN with no problem, but after 8-10 commands(adding files and committing), I get the following error: cvs [add aborted]: connect to 192.168.1.200:2401 failed: Connection timed out After I get this, subsequent commands fail I cannot log in from WinCvs again, or telnet to the Linux box, or even browse to the internet from the Windows box. To resolve this, I have to stop the network and xinetd services and/or reboot Linux before I can get going again. Seems like an issue with the volume of data I am pushing over the connection. I cannot get larger files to commit at all, while I can do several smaller files before it hangs. At this point, I'm out of ideas on how to troubleshoot this. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
