Hi
A developer is getting a cvs error as follows when he
tried to update using Wincvs.We have a UNIX server and
windows client.
almost at the end the update stops at a directory and
he gets this error
cannot login as local user 'his name' and remote user
'another name'
update aborted:Permission denied by rshd.
I checked rsh and it is working fine;I also checked
.rhosts file on host-it has that user name and machine
name.
I don't understand why it is trying to login as a
different user at all.
I checked in the rep to see if any locks are there but
there are none.
I can't understand why this is happening.I do not get
this error when I tried updating.
ANy suggestions?thanks for any help.
