(no subject)

  I have a question of  CVS.
 When I checkout a moudle from server using pserver, there is always a message of
"cvs server: cannot open /root/.cvsignore: Permission denied
cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(/root): Permission denied "
How does this happen,and how to resolve it?
