Not quite -- that will leave you with DOS line endings (<CR><LF>) in
your text files, which will cause problems. You'll need to run some
kind of line ending conversion utility (popular names are dos2unix,
dostounix, dtou, etc.) on things in CVSROOT like config, history,
loginfo, taginfo, etc.
