Ok, I just tried that and I can telnet to that port. Here's what I got:

[localhost:~/Projects] ron% telnet 1.2.1.41 2401
Trying 1.2.1.41...
Connected to 1.2.1.41.
Escape character is '^]'.
? <--- I typed this and pressed enter
cvs [pserver aborted]: bad auth protocol start: ?

Connection closed by foreign host.

I think this means it is working ok. Besides, it is working on other machines.

Is it possible that my local machine is somehow blocking 2041 or
whatever port is being used to connect back to my machine.
