The verifymsg script runs on the cvs server host, and can't interact with the
user on a remote client host.

Perhaps you could get what you want by having your users could set their
CVSEDITOR to be your script.

Hi

I want to implement the following.
As soon as a commit is run,the user will be asked to
select what is the purpose of the commit(i.e. bug
fix,new requirement etc)Depending on what they
select,it will prompt them to enter a log msg is a
format and then check that format and then commit. For
this I wrote a script.But when I run it(from
verifymsg),it is doing everything but commits with the
msg entered with the -m option or in the editor that
CVS opens. How can I get around this?
We are using log_accum and commit_prep for the email
notifications.
Thanks a lot,
Anita Chacko
