I have been encountering problems running WinCvs 1.2 on NT4/SP6. I ran
WinCvs on Windows 98 and it ran fine. Has anyone else experienced any
problems on NT4/SP6?
A couple of the problems I am experiencing are...
1. Unmodified files are showing up as red (instead of white) with a
modified status, even though they are not modified.
2. I am unable to commit changes. I get this message when trying to
commit changes.
cvs commit -m "test commit" Test.java (in directory C:
\cvstest_checkout\cvs_test\)
Checking in Test.java;
c:\cvs_root/cvs_test/Test.java,v <-- Test.java
new revision: 1.2; previous revision: 1.1
cvs [commit aborted]: cannot rename file c:\cvs_root/cvs_test/,Test.java,
to c:\cvs_root/cvs_test/Test.java,v: File exists
Any help is very much appreciated.
Rob
