CVS Client/Server Problem

Hi,   I have a problem about CVS client/Server application. I use one host to run server and client, and the CVSROOT is :pserver:userid@localhost:/cvsroot, but when I use the login command: $cvs -d :pserver:userid@localhost:/cvsroot login the system return: cvs [login aborted]: recv() from server localhost: connection reset by peer   or cvs [login aborted]: received broken pipe signal   thanks,   regards,   dadaok
