Our cvs server was recently infected by the Nimda virus.  All of the directories now have a #cvs.lock folder that seems to be preventing any files from being checked out.

Here is the message that is given:

D:\cvsdev>cvs co practice
cvs server: Updating practice
cvs server: [09:53:17] waiting for Unknown User's lock in d:/cvs/practice
cvs server: [09:53:32] waiting for Unknown User's lock in d:/cvs/practice
D:\cvsdev>

Does anybody have some advice on how to fix this.  Our last resort will be to re-build from backup.

Thanks in advance,

Alex
