[Ron Forrester - Mon at 10:01:23AM -0700] > 1) Why not just use open source tripwire to monitor the CVSROOT tree?
Tripwire can tell whether a file is modified or not, and it can also check that an append-only file is only beeing appended to (thus, in the README I encourage people to put $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/history under tripwire control) - but it cannot, as far as I know, check that a rcs-files grows "naturally". Correct me if I'm wrong? > 2) Since you don't appear to use any part of tripwire in cvs-tripwire, why > borrow (dilute) the name? Sorry - I realize it was most unpolite of me. I might change the name in future releases. Tripwire have certainly given me some inspiration. -- Unemployed hacker Will program for food! http://ccs.custompublish.com/ _______________________________________________ Info-cvs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
