Only if the remote site is set up for it. My idea is to let you replicate any CVS server to which you have access, whether rsync is set up or not. I'm not saying my way is good or efficient, or for daily use, only that it might come in handy if you get some notice that some CVS server you depend on is about to disappear, without any real channce of setting up rsync, cvsup, or anything else, because, maybe the administrative staff just got laid off. Maybe it's just my paranoid system administrator background showing again. CVS is great, but sometimes it makes me a little nervous in that it has a tendency to pack a lot of eggs into one basket. So I think about how you might rescue those eggs from a precariously perched basket, that's all. -- steve __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
