Dear All:

I have a Linux CVS server and use another Windows machine with WinCVS1.2
to connect to.
I can login that server with WinCVS, but whenever I try to checkout
modules , I get the
following error message :

============================================================
cvs -q checkout -P XCARD/test.asp (in directory E:\temp)
cvs server: cannot open /root/.cvsignore: Permission denied
cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(/root): Permission denied
============================================================

It seems like that cvs try to use a file in /root directory bur fails.
Why does it do this ?

Please help me to resolve this problem.

Thanks in advance.
