The problem is short: i can't log in as a project member. I read almost every tutorial found on the web and newsgroups for WinCVS and NT, but it looks as if WinXP causes problems. I've everythnig set up normally, but the thing that make me wonder WinXP is involved is that when the DOS windows opens (e.g. when i try to remove a file), i get the error :
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- cvs remove: authorization failed: server cvs.ewa.sourceforge.net rejected access to /cvsroot/ewa for user mo-ize cvs remove: used empty password; try "cvs login" with a real password ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- As you know, Sourceforge is using a SSH, which works with the RSA identity file : ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------- D:\Abc\.ssh>ssh -l mo-ize -i ./identity cvs.ewa.sourceforge.net Host 'cvs.ewa.sourceforge.net' added to the list of known hosts. Connection to cvs.ewa.sourceforge.net closed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- But when i launch a wincvs command, a DOS window opens : It is an empty window, and its title is the path of cvs.exe It stays open about one second, without showing anything inside. I don't know what to do ... Help if someone has already managed to make it work fine under win XP !
