I dunno ... some would argue that CVS has reached the end of the line (which,
incidentally, is not a bad thing). Major new functionality requires too much
fundamental architecture changes. SubVersion is touted as the heir to CVS's
throne http://subversion.tigris.org/ (they recently went self-hosting, which
