If your question really is: "Is anyone modifying CVS to support locking?" Then I believe the answer is "yes".
If your question really is: "Is anyone making locking a mainstream feature of CVS?" Then I believe the answer is "no". Despite the outcry to have this capability, no one with commit access to the definitive sources seems to be taking it seriously enough to apply Noel's patch (or implement other things that have been discussed over the years), and no one seems to be writing something else that does locking and supplies CVS' other useful features. --- Forwarded mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] The RCVS part on source forge seems to be dead.
