Trying to login to CVS using WinCVS with password authentication generates
the following

CVSROOT: :pserver:aoates@cvs:/home/cvsuser (password authentication)
TCL is *not* available, shell is disabled
cvs login
(Logging in to cvsuser@cvs)
cvs login: authorization failed: server cvs rejected access to
/home/cvsuser for user cvsuser

*****CVS exited normally with code 1*****

Why does it ignore aoates@cvs and try to log in as cvsuser@cvs??
