I don't quite understand this. I use CVS at home, where I don't
share development, and have found it convenient to use in initial
development. Certainly I don't use many of the features of CVS
that way (although I do some concurrent development, making fixes
both on the Mac and the Linux box). I consider it useful as a way
of keeping track of the state of the code and sometimes tying certain
changes into certain features I'm adding.
Granted, it's more useful when I actually do a release, but I certainly
wouldn't say it's not very useful in initial development by one person.
