Hi, This is a resend of a previous posting (System config version control with cvs-Unable to commit!) in the hope that someone cand lend me a hand solving this,
I'm having trouble commiting to the repository, I get the following: I'm sure it's a permissions deal but there is r/w access to all directories in the repo, so I dodn't understand what's going on. Could anyone experienced with cvs provide a clue? I'm using a Suse 7.3 linux box and cvs is version 1.11 I've checked the faq, and the archives and I haven't found anything similar. cvs commit output: ...various lines similar to the following 4 cvs commit: in directory etc/X11/susewm/AddEntrys/SuSE/Utilities/unspec: cvs commit: ignoring CVS/Root because it does not contain an absolute pathname. cvs commit: in directory etc/X11/susewm/AddEntrys/SuSE/Utilities/unspec: cvs commit: ignoring CVS/Root because it does not contain an absolute pathname. cvs [commit aborted]: cannot open directory <-----------PROBLEM /home/saimonm/cvs/configBK/#SuSEwmSKIPthisFILE The strange thing is I can commit fine using cervisia (cvs client). Thanks, Saimon _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
