Are you going to support either of the variants, and if so to what
degree?
Various people have "threatened" to fork the CVS development several
times in the past -- at least once for this particular purpose, IIRC.
Oddly that's never succeeded to the best of my knowledge.
Yes, there is the "Subversions" project, but that's not a fork in that
sense.
