changing version of files in cvs

Hi all,
Wanted to know if  we can change the revision of a file in cvs manualy,

i.e  if  I have a file  with revisions as below:

file --  1.2
1.3
1.4
1.5

Can i change the version 1.5 to  2.0 so that i have all, further chages to the file
getting versions
2.1
2.2 ...

Please reply  as to how it should be done.
