Have you tried the version from the latest CVS distribution on
www.cvshome.org?
I've never used log_accum, but I do use a slightly modified version of the
log script in the standard CVS distribution (all I added was revision
information of the changed files).
Here is a loginfo line similar to the one I use (only the email address is
different):
DEFAULT $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/log -u $USER -s -m [EMAIL PROTECTED] -f
$CVSROOT/CVSROOT/commitlog.txt %{sv}
