CVS on Solaris 2.8

Hi,
        I have installed CVS 1.11.5 on Solaris2.8 but getting a strange
problem while logging onto Server
cvs [login aborted]: recv() from server 10.91.208.12: EOF

Please help if anybody has faced the same problem and fixed
