You can make use of standard unix permissions on modules. Check the latest cvs version, I think it has better access control options.How to set up a repository so that only some users will have permissions to write and some other read access. What should be the permissions of the directory. Where i can i find a good document regarding cvs permissions
Also read CVS manual for how readers and writers groups work in CVS.
