That implies that the cvs binary is inside your repository. While that isn't necessarily bad, it is unusual and could cause confusion in the future. I suggest you make a brand new (empty) directory for your repository instead, say /home/cvsadmin/repos. It also implies that you're trying to do an update inside the repository, which doesn't make any sense.
