Hi,

People have been confusing windows 2000 and Windows 98 here.

On windows 98, you need to edit your Autoexec.bat file to include
the line:

SET CVSROOT=blah

On Windows 2000, it's in Control Panel, System, Advanced, as was
mentioned.

If you do it from the command line it will be reset when you reboot your
machine however.

Actually... you can do it from the Command line... Just Set CVSROOT=C:
\Path.... Just thought I'd get that out for the Archive for setting Windows
98 Enviromental Variables.
