That only happens if the sticky tag is numeric. If the sticky tag is symbolic, then the remove is allowed; the tag is removed from the file rather than the file itself being removed. This is by design, but current thinking is that the design is defective. Unfortunately, no one has gotten around to fixing the code, as far as I know. -Larry Jones OK, what's the NEXT amendment say?
