I'm using CVS with gCVS and winCVS clients.
I need to use a template with multiple lines to provide a standard log message when commiting a file.
The template looks like that:
---- Problem report: Comments: ----
The problem is that only the last line of the template appears in the log message area when I select "Insert CVS/Template" from the commit message box. I found in Google groups that CVS clients do not manage line feed very well but the message is almost 2 years old. I hope that a correction has been made since.
Any help to use multi-lines template greatly appreciated.
