Good.  Or not.  The way it currently is means I can't do
diffs on a branch based on dates.  It is actually not 
dependent on the file being entered on the branch initially.
I can send an example if you wish.

And I would expect diff to use the sticky branch tag by
default.  The other cvs commands need an explicit -r HEAD
to refer to the trunk.
